Fighter Jet Control Stick Shifter - A control stick (or stick in the US), or simply a control stick, is an aircraft cockpit structure in which the control row (or joystick) is located between the pilots or between the pilot's legs. Since the throttle controls are usually on the pilot's left side, the right hand is used for the stick, but it can be operated with the left hand or with both hands if necessary.
The control stick is part of the flight control system and is usually connected to the ailerons and elevators, or alternatively to the elevators via controls or control cables on the main aircraft. In heavier, faster and more advanced aircraft, the ctre stick can also control the power assist modules. Modern cockpits usually have multiple electrical control switches within fingertip reach to reduce the pilot's workload.
